Administrative Leadership is about organizing and directing the movement of others. The ability to create and maintain systems is also a very beneficial tool we teach our students. Strategic Planning and maintaining an overall positive work environment are also invaluable skills. Strategic leaders are of clear purpose, inspire others, and ensure goals are attained.

Why is this important?
Administrative skills are important because they keep business processes running smoothly. Any successful, efficient organization should have both administrative professionals who have strong skills in this area, as well as individual contributors who have good administrative skills

What will you learn?
Standard business functions include hiring and supporting staff, overseeing budgets, and maintaining a positive workplace environment. We will cover an overall understanding of these topics.

What does success look like?
To be a successful administrator, you must be deadline-driven and possess a high level of organization. Good administrators can balance multiple tasks simultaneously and delegate when appropriate. Planning and thinking strategically are valuable skills that elevate administrators in their careers.
